NOXACORN®, Liquid
Patient package insert according to Pharmacists' Regulations (Preparations), 1986.
Carefully read the entire package insert before using this medication. Composition: Contains: Salicylic Acid 10.5% Benzocaine 2.1%

Inactive ingredients: Pyroxylin, Iodized Castor Oil, Camphor, Ethanol, Ether. Therapeutic group: Salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent that causes exfoliation. Benzocaine belongs to a group of medicines known as topical local anesthetics.

Therapeutic action: Salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent that causes exfoliation of the rough skin of a corn/callus thus enabling its removal. Benzocaine relieves pain and irritation.
Indications: This medicine is intended for the removal of corns and calluses.

When should this medicine not be used?
Do not use this medicine if you are aware of any hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients or to salicylates (e.g. aspirin).
Do not use this medicine if the corn/callus or the surrounding skin is broken, inflamed, swollen or reddish.
Do not use on moles, birthmarks, on warts with hair growth, on genital or anal warts, on healthy skin or on the face area.

Do not use this medicine without consulting your physician before commencing treatment:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you suffer or have suffered in the past from diabetes; if you are suffering from inflammation, irritation or infection of the skin, blood vessel disease (e.g., blood flow problem), influenza or chicken pox, kidney or liver disease; if you are aware of any hypersensitivity to other topical local anesthetics; in treatment of children under 12 years of age.

Warnings: Do not use this medicine frequently or for prolonged periods (more than two weeks) without consulting your physician. Do not use on wide areas of the body or under an airtight covering (for instance plastic gloves).
Do not use on open sores or on irritated or inflamed skin.
Do not use on the mouth or inside the nose, as this preparation may cause
serious damage in these cases.
Noxacorn should be applied only to the corn/callus.
Prolonged use can cause skin irritation.
Avoid breathing in vapors from the medicine.
If you are aware of any sensitivities to foods or drugs inform your physician before using this medicine.

Drug interactions: if you are taking other medicines concurrently or have just completed treatment with another medicine (including prescription medicines, non-prescription medicines, homeopathic or herbal medicines), inform your physician in order to prevent hazards or inefficacy arising from drug interactions, especially regarding other skin preparations (including medicines and cosmetics).

Side effects: In addition to the desired effect of the medicine, some side effects may appear during treatment, such as: skin irritation, stinging, rash, burning sensation, redness of the skin, itching. Consult your physician if these effects persist or are bothersome.

Side effects requiring special attention:
Local inflammation (that was not present before use of this medicine) (rare): contact your physician. The following side effects may also occur: dryness and peeling of skin - contact your physician.





If you experience side effects not mentioned in this insert, or if you feel any change in your general health, contact your physician immediately. Side effects and drug interactions in children and infants: Parents should report to the physician any side effects as well as any additional medicines taken by the child!

See the above mentioned special side effects and drug interactions.

Dosage: If not otherwise instructed by your physician see "Directions for use". Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

This medicine is not usually intended for children under the age of 12 years. Attention: Do not swallow! This medicine is intended for external use only. Avoid contact of this medicine with the eyes, mucous membranes (e.g. the nose and mouth) and healthy skin. In the event of contact with the eyes or these tissues, immediately rinse them with a large amount of water.

Directions for use: Wash the area to be treated and dry thoroughly. Apply a drop of Noxacorn on the center of the corn/callus, let the drop ary and repeat this action until the corn/callus is completely covered with the liquid. Be careful not to wet the skin surrounding the corn/callus as this may cause unnecessary pain. Repeat the treatment once or twice a day as needed for up to 14 days, until the corn/callus is removed. You can soak the corn/callus area in warm water for 5 minutes and easily remove it. When applying Noxacorn between fingers or toes, hold the fingers/toes apart from each other until the liquid dries.If your condition does not improve or if the sense of discomfort gets worse in the course of treatment or continues after treatment, or if the corn/callus spreads, contact your physician. Wash your hands well after completing the treatment unless your hands are the area being treated.

Способ применения жидкости для удаления мозолей NOXACORN: вымойте мозоль и кожу вокруг и тщательно просушите. Avoid poisoning! This medicine, and any other medicine should be kept in a closed place out of the reach of children and/or infants to avoid poisoning. If you swallowed any of the medicine, or if a child accidentally swallowed this medicine, proceed immediately to a hospital emergency room and bring the medicine package with you.
Do not induce vomiting without explicit instructions from a physician! Medicines should not be taken in the dark! Check the label and the dose every time you use this medicine. Wear glasses if you need them.

Storage: Store in a dark place. Do not store above 25°C. Close well after use in order to keep the Noxacorn from evaporating. The medicine can be used for up to three months after first opening it. Caution! Inflammable, keep away from fire!

Even if kept in their recommended storage conditions, drugs retain their potency for a limited period only. Please note the expiry date of this medicine! If in doubt, consult with the dispensing pharmacist. Do not store different medicines in the same container. Registration number of the drug: 051 84 24463 00.
